Jamal Johnston

Dr Jamal Johnston is one of the principal dentists, at The Dental Spa London and has over 30 years of experience, in General and Aesthetic Dental Practice.

Jamal graduated from Manchester University in 1991 ,with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. Since that time he has devoted his time to continuing professional development in his field and has gained significant experience, working in predominantly private dental practices across England.

He was the senior dentist at Boots Dental Centre of Excellence in Slough, overseeing a team of clinical staff, including hygienists, dentists and specialists from 1999-2005.

Jamal has always taken a keen interest in training future dentists, dental therapists and nurses. He was a Foundation Dentist/Therapist Trainer with the Oxford Post Graduate Deanery from 2008-2018. His remit then and now, encompasses mentoring, supervising and developing younger colleagues, to become caring, competent and reflective practitioners.

He has received numerous patient commendations over the past three decades, due to his adaptable, friendly, compassionate and empathetic approach, when treating patients. He seamlessly combines offering an excellent patient journey experience, with the unique ability, to put patients at ease.

Jamal has a rich legacy of creating beautiful smiles, based on a foundation of good dental health. He continues to widen his expertise, undertaking recent training in Facial Aesthetics to help his patients maintain healthy, revitalised and transformed skin.

In his spare time, he loves to travel, spend time with family and is an ardent wildlife enthusiast.
