When wrinkles and fine lines occur, it is usually because of age, but other factors can also contribute to premature ageing, such as sun exposure and smoking. Your consultation will discuss the look you want to achieve. We prefer a more natural look here that keeps your eyebrows moving so you don’t look ‘done’!
After your consultation the treatment procedure involves going over your medical history and consent process again just to double check for any changes and to go over any questions. It is possible to have treatment in the same appointment as your consultation if you’d like.
Any make up on the area to be treated is removed. The skin is cleaned with alcohol and markings are made relating to injection points. The injections are delivered via very small needles.
Depending on the area to be treated the procedure will last anywhere between 15-30 minutes. If you are having treatment for axilla hyperhidrosis you will be with us for roughly 45 minutes as you will have a sweat test prior to cleaning the skin.
Botulinum toxin injections are delivered without the need for anaesthetic as the needles are the smallest on the market. You may feel a very slight scratch on injection, if you have any.
